Top Performing Trucks of 2019

Trucks are known as big and bold vehicles, but they’re also highly capable and have a broad appeal. Pickup trucks are increasingly appealing to families for their safety and comfort features. They come with fun features that it’s difficult not to overdo it and get more than you need. They are ideal for hauling dirty cargo, pulling heavy trailers, and just transporting you where you need to go. For the uninitiated, it can be overwhelming to make these choices, but we’re here to help.

We put together a little list of 2019’s top performing pickup trucks to help you with your shopping:

1. GMC Sierra 1500
The completely redesigned 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 provides spacious hauling and towing capabilities, giving drivers and passengers a smooth ride and spacious seats. The user-friendly infotainment system is best in class and comes with a 7-inch touch screen, six-speaker audio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Its main drawback would be its interior quality with drivers saying that it’s not as upscale as other models.

2. Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The Chevrolet Silverado is a strong option for a full-size pickup truck. It offers exceptional towing capacity, ample space for passengers, top-notch fuel economy, and most importantly, a balanced ride and handling. Higher trims offer an 8-inch touch screen that is user-friendly with large buttons and simple menu structure. The overall ambience of the truck is good, but not as luxurious as other comparably priced models.

3. Nissan Titan
The latest Nissan Titan has a lot going for it. It offers drivers a quiet cabin and a smooth ride that’s easy to drive. Its infotainment system is user-friendly, but some controls can be tedious and requires repetitive pushing of buttons. The main complaint is that the infotainment system is a little dated compared to competitors.

4. Toyota Tundra
The Toyota Tundra comes with a brisk and powerful V8 engine and a great deal of driver assistance technology. This pickup truck’s main disadvantage is its poor fuel economy. Its base engine gets 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on highways, which are the lowest ratings on our list. That’s not all though, it also has lower hauling and towing ratings, limited engine options, and cargo bed upgrades.

5. Ford F-150

It consistently tops the top truck lists for its incredible hauling and towing capability, and for its spacious and comfortable interior. This truck comes with a many infotainment system options, including dual-zone automatic climate control, a twin-panel moonroof, and an 8-inch touch screen.
